AUTHOR & IT STRATEGIST

Three decades inside technology. One practical guide to making AI work in your business.
Helping leaders make sense of AI and what to do with it.

About
Thirty years inside technology.
Thirty years across robotics, energy, retail, FMCG, fashion, transportation, and technology gives you a particular perspective on how organisations actually work and where technology fits within them. Not just theoretical, but In practice, under pressure, with real budgets and real consequences.I am currently VP of IT and MIS at AIR, Automated Industrial Robotics, where I lead technology strategy for a business operating at the frontier of industrial automation.
Through BDRowe Consulting Ltd, I take on a small number of selective engagements where I can add genuine value, whether that is strategic IT advisory, charity work, or speaking and writing on the topics I care most about.I am a Chartered IT Professional and Member of the British Computer Society, and hold certifications in corporate strategy, negotiation, and leadership from Harvard University, the University of Glasgow, and the University of London. That experience, and a growing curiosity about where AI was actually heading in the real world of business, led me to write A to I. It's not a book about the future of artificial intelligence but more a practical guide to what organisations should actually do about it right now.

THE BOOK
A to I
AI has arrived in most organisations whether they planned for it or not. The question is no longer whether to engage with it but how to do so with clarity and purpose. A to I is a practical guide for leaders, decision makers, and teams who want to move beyond the noise and implement AI in a way that actually works.Drawing on three decades of experience across industries, A to I takes you from the foundations of artificial intelligence through to real world implementation, covering strategy, ethics, culture, data readiness, and the organisational realities that most books on the subject ignore entirely.
